December's Creative Souls meeting will be all about reclaiming the simpler joys of Christmas. Members of the Bonnie Kate Community Theatre will be performing prose and poetry, both humorous and heartfelt, about the season.

We will be joined by Roxanne McDaniel, who will be accompanying us on the mandolin or ukulele, as we lead the group in singing some old fashioned Christmas carols, interspersed throughout our readings.

This performance is perfect for anyone who may have lost sight of "a tender Tennessee Christmas" amid all the stress and commercialism so prevalent at this time of year. Folks can come to listen and soak it all in, or, come prepared to sing along with us, as we present "Christmas Past...A Celebration of the Season."

We'll also share a little bit about the BKCT, and how they can get involved if they're interested in the performing arts.
