Join experienced artist and educator Donna Meeks for a welcoming adult art class designed to build your skills and confidence. Each session begins with a short drawing lesson, followed by in-depth exploration of various techniques and mediums.

About the Instructor: 

Donna holds a degree in fine arts and art education from Stetson University (1982). With extensive teaching experience and a passion for various mediums including acrylic, watercolor, and collage, Donna brings her artistic expertise to the beautiful mountains of Tennessee after relocating from Florida in 2024.

Course Focus:

• Initial weeks dedicated to watercolor techniques, color theory, and texture creation
• Combining watercolor with gouache and pen and ink
• Transition to acrylic painting and exploration of other techniques
• Flexible approach allowing students to work at their own pace
• Emphasis on building skills for independent art creation

Investment:

• Monthly fee: $50.00 (no refunds for missed classes)
• Weekly option: $15.00 per class
• Quarterly supply fee: $10.00 (covers occasional specialty materials)
• Basic supply list provided at first class
