Encouraging and Supporting Young Artists
We know is important to encourage and empower young artists. We need to create a culture that values and celebrates youth art. August Muse is excited to celebrate youth in arts beginning in March 2023 with youth art month. Visit the store between March 18-April 29 and view local youth art shows. Each week will be unique. Some weeks there will be art opening times when the public can meet the youth artists and/or the teachers. By encouraging and empowering young artists, we can help them develop their skills, build their confidence, and prepare them for a future in the arts.

The Benefits of Youth Art
Youth art has a multitude of benefits for young people. It can help them develop their cognitive, emotional, and social skills. When young people engage in art, they learn to think creatively and critically. Art can also help young people develop emotional intelligence. Through art, they learn to identify and express their emotions in a healthy and constructive way. Art can also be a social activity that encourages collaboration and teamwork. It can help young people develop communication and leadership skills.
Keep Creating
If you are a young artist, keep creating! Don't be afraid to share your work and pursue your artistic interests. If you are an adult, consider volunteering your time or resources to support youth art programs in your community. By working together, we can help ensure that every young person has the opportunity to benefit from the power of art. August Muse is looking forward to making this a yearly event to bring the community together through art.
