The ETSU Flute Choir, under the direction of Dr. Roya Farzaneh, is an ensemble of talented undergraduate students and community flutists from East Tennessee State University. Their captivating performances have resonated not only at local schools and venues, but also at well-known conferences like the Midsouth Flute Festival. Several members within the ensemble manage successful private studios, excel in competitions, and flourish through active community engagement.
Roya Farzaneh leads a dynamic career as a flutist, serving as principal flutist for the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra and 2nd flute for Symphony of the Mountains. Her artistry has earned recognition in solo flute competitions and prestigious festivals around the country. Alongside her performing career, she passionately educates as an adjunct professor at East Tennessee State University and artistic director of the ETSU Community Music School. royafarzaneh.com
