Appalachia at Dusk

"Appalachia at Dusk" is a mixed-media creation that I framed in a 16” x 12” custom wooden frame with a braided inner edge. The texture of the frame itself adds so much character to the piece, giving it an almost organic feel. Central to the artwork is a hand-hammered sun wall clock that captures the eye immediately. The clock is adorned with small metallic studs and sits behind striking aluminum mountains, all set against a dark brown background. This contrast highlights the warm tones of the aluminum and adds a sense of depth and mystery.
