Art in Aluminum
About 20 years ago, making motorcycle part out of aluminum, I noticed the way metal reacted to the different hammers and sandpapers and wondered if I could create a picture out of metal. I wanted to create the simplicity of the complexity for the viewer in both framed pieces and sculpture.

My art began in photography. I love the simple complexity of nature and the simple moments of life. The sight of a leaf falling from a tree or a pair of old shoes. Images that can surround the viewer with a vision to powerful that the emotion is captured in memory forever.
"I am devoted to working 'old school' with minimal machines. 6061 aluminum is my main media. Each piece is one of a kind, being cut, filed and sanded by hand with refurbished old tools or ones I create."
